  1. The Tetraodontidae contains at least 121 species of puffers in 19 genera. So it'd be hard to say which one it is exactly.

  2. the closest i can think is either a long spined porcupine fish or a black saddled puffer. even though sharp nosed pufferfish live on the coast of queensland it doesnt look like one

  3. Most likely Takifugu niphobles. Gets 15 cm (6 inches) and will need a full marine environment for long term care. Also have a look at FishBase.

I am sure that this is a young Takifugu niphobles, eventually the spots on it will be more noticeable..!

Hope this helps and good luck with that beautiful Puffer!

  4. a fat one?

  5. Its your bog standard Puffer, in the Pacific Ocean based habbitat.

    What more can i say?

  6. Nice shape one

  7. looks like a Saddled Puffer

    (Canthigaster valentini)

it's hard to determine, since it's so young, i may be wrong

  8. a zebra puffer i believe...nice catching.

  9. saddled puffer

  10. a caribbean pufferfish
