  1. Honestly a house cat does not really need a shot at all but law requiers the rabies and distemper wich is a good thing to have anyways. that should be all she needs thow.

  2. Feline Leukemia and her FHIV shots as well.  I personally suggest the entire panel, whether it's an indoor or outdoor, just in case the cat escapes for a few days.  Accidents do happen, and cats do get out.

  3. Because your cat is in a controlled environment, ie. she's not exposed to other cats, I would not load her up with vaccines.  Holistic vets believe vaccines and poor diets are the root causes of many of the problems our pets have with their health.  I do not vaccinate my strictly indoor cats for anything.  If you feel you must vaccinate her for rabies, then always get the one year only vaccine and not the three year.  There's something in the 3 year that can lead to malignant cancers at the injection sites.  If you're interested in reading more about the possible link of too many vaccines and cancer in cats, you can read Dr. Martin Goldstein DVM's book, "The Nature of Animal Healing."  You can get this book at your local bookstore or order it from Amazon.com.  Dr. Goldstein talks about different pet issues as well as ideal pet diets and his opinion of vaccines.  He's a very well respected holistic vet.

  4. My strictly indoor cat gets the combo vaccination: FVRCP.

FVR  Stands For Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis

    C  Stands For Calicivirus Infection

    P Stands For Panleukopenia
