  1. There are 3 layers of tissue that make up the heart:

    Myocardium- this is the muscular tissue of the heart

    endocardium- effectively a specialized endothelium

    epicardium- a connective tissue layer around the heart.

    Your best answer is probably muscular tissue though...


  2. Well the heart has all of those cell types but the ones that do the most work are the cardiac muscle cells (muscle tissue).
