What Kind of Tape Does a Panasonic PV-GS19 Camcorder Take?

My girlfriend bought one (I know nothing of camcorders and it's her first one) because she assumed she could just shoot and it would save to the SD card... but apparently not.

Just wondering if anybody knew what kind of tapes these bad boys take?

it takes miniDV tape, available most everywhere. it is sometimes called DVC tape. it comes in 60 minute (1 hour) standard shooting length.
