What Kind/type of Gun do I have & how much is it worth?

I found it in the woods, with some 1942 stuff? so I don't know if that's the year of the gun, but my boyfriend told me it was a 380 handgun it says "patnet nationals" on it and it's silver At first we thought it was a world war 2 gun because it came with this guys world war 2 paper work on it, we are just trying to figure out what kind of gun it is and how much money its worth

It might be a version of the Walther PP/PPK built by Mauser in 1942, or something built under license from a 1942. I'd be afraid to hazard a guess on value.
