What Lcd tv is good for bluray and gaming? im looking for a 52 inch with 1080p?

If i were you i would look for a little smaller HDTV i have a PS3 and 360 on a 1080p TV but the bigger the TV is, the bigger the pixels are gonna be, i believe the best size for gaming is a 40".

Sony Bravia XBR and Sharp Aquos are among the best.  Get one with 120 Hz rate, it will improve the smoothness of motion in the games.  Also get one that will accept the 1080p 24 Hz output of the blu-ray.  That will give the best picture for movies.  Samsung with these features is also rated highly, but some of those have very glossy screens that show reflections.

if you go to walmart to buy a TV your obviously an idiot and wasting your money..bc all of their models are old and not up to date with the models that best buy or circuit city has.

i would NOT go to walmart to buy a new LCD.

i would recommend Best buy or circuit city.

and any sharp,samsung,or song. i would recommend samsung since we have a 42''samsung in our living room and a 32''LCD in my room for my 360

and their great they look much better than cheaper brands its definitely worth it to buy a more expensive LCD.

make sure you get one with a high contrast ratio that helps the picture alot.

and like the other person said one with 120Hz that will also make your picture alot clearer

honeslty i went to the store planning on buying a new lcd tv for under 1000 dollars cause i also have a ps3. There are so many choices, but at walmart i bought today a phillips brand for 998.00 and it looks awsome especially when playing the ps3

The samsung series 6 is good for the 52 inch level. You can also look at the Sony X series. 1080p with 100 MHZ and 50k contrast ratio plus 3 years of warranty should be compelling enough. Its gotten good reviews as well on Cnet. I'm thinking of getting one myself. Its $3199 sing dollars here, how bout over there comes with either a free blu-ray and a 22 inch LCD monitor here.
