What Lipstick/eyeshadow colours would suit me?

I've been trying to find a really nice lip colour that would suit my skin tone but I've found it really hard.

I'm mixed Asian-British so I have a kind of olive/yellow/tanned skin tone, I also have very dark brown hair with dark brown eyes.

I tend to go for a very natural look and don't usually go for a really bright look.

I want a really nude but slightly coloured lipstick and a brighter eyeshadow. Can anyone help me please?? =) xx

  1. for the natural look try smashbox lip enhancing gloss-true color. it's a lip gloss with a brownish tone...it looks cute. and for your eyes use a brown, golden or light beige eyeshadow.

    (:

  2. for brown eyes use colors that contrast the brown like purples, greens, etc. browns would still work if going for a natural look. any color usually works for brown eyes.

for a nude lipstick you should lean towards color that match the natural pigment of your lips.

  3. i would say if your looking for a natural lip color just use lip gloss its not bright but if you don't like the shiny just use lip balm or you can use tanish lip stick and for eye shadow use a light pink or a grassy green kind and i bet you'll look great all the guys will have there eyes on you.Best of luck

  4. Don't cake on the make up like some Japanese girls do.  Then you look disgusting and fake.

Try light eye shadows, like a taupe or a white, maybe a baby blue.

Go nude for lip gloss. Sally Henson makes good gloss, it's like $5 a tube but it's worth it. Almay makes good make up, too.

  5. because u have dark eyes u should make them stand out more by muting your lips, so basically when ur putting ur foundation on just rub a litle bit into ur lips. then use a really nice pale pink lipstick by MAC like pretty please or snob or pervette (theyre the colours of the mac lipsticks). to keep things natural looking in the daywear a nice brown eyeshadow covering the whole socket of ur eyelid with it.a rele nice colour is tempting by MAC. as for the bright colours becuase i dont know what your eyes look like i would go into a professional make up counter in a department store and go to MAC or something and ask them what colours would suit u best. theyll try some colours on u and see which ones look best on u. hope this helps!
