  1. toyotas and hondas are the highest reliability, BUT they also command the highest resale price, so you're going to pay alot more for them.

my personal recommendation is to get the 'second tier' japanese cars like the nissan sentra, mazda protege or mitsu lancer as they are nearly as reliable and command a much lower resale value, or find a geo/chevy prizm.  they are toyota corollas, same assembly line and everything, that are rebadged as GM's.  they can be purchased much cheaper than toyotas can and will give = reliability.

  2. Just about any Toyota (avoid V6 Camrys from the years 1996-2006), Honda (avoid  the 2001-2003 Honda Civic's with automatics and any 1996-2002 Accord with an automatic).

  3. Do  not buy american used cars. extremely unreliable. Go foreign...if you dont want to spend much go for toyota, honda, VW, or Volvo. for more expensive cars i would go with acura

  4. I would recommend toyota because it is a really reliable brand that will last you a long time.... i have seen some toyotas the had 300,000 miles

  5. toyota

  6. Chevy is really great on gas.

  7. Hondas and Toyotas are known for reliability, I'd recommend either of those.

  8. toyota lexus acura honda

  9. Toyota, Honda, BMW.

  10. pt cruiser

never had one on hook (tow truck)
