What MLB baseball should I cheer for? I live in central Utah.

I live in Bountiful, Utah and I'm supposed to root for the Rockies. I do as a darn please and root for the Tigers. (Not much to root for). I lived in Seattle and rooted for the Tigers so I'd say root for whoever you like.

Chicago White Sox!  Of course!  Maybe the Yanks or Tigs...but never ever trust a Cubs fan.  They are classless and rude.  

Example: Cross Town Classic. Sox vs Cubs.  Cubs  hit a home run, I catch the ball, I'm a South Sider.  What do I do?  I hand the ball to a little Cubs fan.  A Cubs fan would just throw it back on the field. A Cubs fan would never hand that ball over to a South Sider.  And we're talking little kids.  Eff the Cubs fans.  Eff you.  Classless and RUDE!  

I never met a Cub fan I liked!

The White Sox, they are from chicago. They are the better of the 2 chicago teams and get no respect from the city and media.  They won the series in 2005 not 1908 like the cubbies.  They have a nicer ball park and better looking uniforms and do alot for the fans.

The Colorado Rockies!  You are closest to them and probably people around are fans too!

Cheer for the Milwaukee Brewers, and here's why:

-They have a TON of great young talent both on the team and in the minors

-Milwaukee fans love baseball-they got 10,000+ to show up at a game where the brewers werent even playing

-They've become a competitive club without spending money like there's no tomorrow

-the racing sausages. Nuff said

-they're in a tight division race right now, and they've made it pretty clear that this is their year

-great nickname: The Brew Crew

You shouldn't need to ask who to "cheer" for.  You're either a die-hard baseball fan or you don't know the game very well at all.  I have always been a die-hard Phillies fan ever since I was little and that will never change.  Don't let anyone tell you who to root for- I personally hate people that either suddenly begin supporting whichever team wins the world series or like a team just because their friends do.

The Rockies are closest to you and they're a fun team. You got guys like Matt Holliday (for now), Troy Tulowitzki, and Todd Helton. It's a solid squad and Coors Field looks like an awesome ballpark.

I would recommend the Yankees because I'm a fan and the team's history is impeccable. I can talk about the championships and the Hall of Famers who've worn Yankee Pinstripes. I can tell you about how the current team is a fun, solid bunch of players. Youth with Robinson Cano, Melky Cabrera and Joba Chamberlain. Experience and all-star pedigree with Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, and the greatest closer of all time in Mariano Rivera.

Also, the Yankees name is worldwide. The Yankees' interlocking NY logo is one of the most popular logos of all time. And the uniform? Speaks for itself. Pinstripes. No name on the back. Classic! It says class. It exudes excellence. Not to mention you can get YES, the Yankees' TV network, on satellite TV, so you'll see most of their games.

Just keep in mind that you'll get a lot of glares of hatred and snide comments should you choose to roll with the Empire. Haters are gonna be everywhere. If you're ready for that, we've got a fresh New Era Yankee fitted just your size when you're ready to step up to First Class. But if you're gonna be down, be serious about it. No half-stepping if you're gonna be a Yanks fan. No "causal fan" stuff with us. We're not down for that whole Pink Hat stuff.
