The relationship between Edward and Bella. Makes you yearn for a relationship such as that. I mean, what girl doesn't love a good love story? And Edward himself! I think most girls love the idea of having someone like him. Selfless, beautiful, polite, very gentlemen-like, etc. He always gives Bella a choice and makes sure she is always happy. Also, another reason is that I think a lot of girls can relate to Bella. And the obstacles they face adds onto the excitement.

I think Edward makes the whole story shine. Its hard to find someone like Edward these days, thats probably why most girls are in love with him.
