Question:

What Makeup Would Be Best On Me?

I have brown/red/blonde hair, naturally. I have blonde highlights. I have A LOT of freckles. I have Hazel eyes. Sometimes they're more green, sometimes they're more brown, depending on what I wear. I want to know how to make them stand out more, but not too much. I also want to know what makeup would compliment my best features..?

I have a heart-shaped face, and my hair is long... a few inches under my shoulders. All in all, I look like my avatar does...

  1. Makeup: Brown/red highlighted hair, fair skinned beauties can wear lip tones of dusty rose and plums to brighten their look but nothing can replace a bright warm red for drama. Generally lip colors that work are: raspberry reds, warm reds, blue reds, bright reds, geraniums, fuchsias, roses, medium pinks, berries, burgundies, soft plums. Avoid orange reds. Avoid strong pinks.

If your eyes are light, they can carry more defined makeup. Use rich color, blacks and chocolates. Lighter eyes call for more subtle washes of shadow.

Good luck & don't be afraid to try something different = )

  2. Hazel eyes looks good with purple, blue, and/or gold shadows and eyeliners! I guess when it's more green, go for pink and purple shadows.

  3. To bring out the green in your hazel eyes use a bright green eyeshadow. Also purple or lavender look very nice with your eyes. For when your eyes are green use violet or warm colors. browns are good too. Always apply a bit of liquid liner to the top of your eyes, they always make your eyes stand out and look huge. White eyeliner also does a good job on the big eye look, but avoid white, it'll give you a washed out look since you have green/hazel eyes.

oh also when you wear reddish colors green should come out more and  when you wear blue, brown should come out more. Haha, just saying.

I love people with heart shape faces! They've got great cheek bones. So, to bring out your cheekbones more, you should dot underneath your cheekbones (you can find them when you suck in your cheeks and do the fishy face) with a blush cream in a bronze color. Blend dots up to your temples. Helps bring it out. Add a bit of peachy color on the apples (you can find them when you smile) for a glow if you'd like.
