What Mask Should I Use While Mowing The Lawn?

I mow my lawn each day with a gasoline powered mower and am worried about the fumes/exhaust from the mower that always blow back in my face. Is there some type of mask I could wear that would prevent me from inhaling these fumes? What are they called?

You might try a dampened bandanna, otherwise you'll need a full on fireman's gas mask. Typical 3M particulate masks don't filter fumes such as those.
