i play in the midfield which means i have to run alot. What is the best meal i can have before a game so i can have the most energy

  2. I've always been told that eating a huge plate of carbs, like spaghetti for instance, a couple of hours before the game will really help you and give you energy.

  3. My grandfather was an excellent footballer even getting to VFL (now AFL) level and also a top Cyclist when not playing footy. He swore by bananas for both sports.

    I personally might be a bit careful about smoothies as Milk is said to have some sort of chemical in it that can induce feelings of sleepiness and is drunk warm by a lot of people to induce sleep.
