I'm not a drug addict and I drink maybe once a month. I just am so hyped up and spazzy I can't get my work done well and can't concentrate at school. I don't want to change my personality because I like who I am. I just need to take pills possibly sometimes so I can help other at work and not flip from one thing to another. I always work like twice as fast as other people but not always the best lol. Any help I would appreciate and would a doctor be hesitant to prescribe Xanax or something to a 20 year old?

  1. You will not receive an RX for anything.  You're like everybody.  Deal with it.  You are not special.---I just read your add on.  Admit yourself to a psyche ward.---sometimes they give good drugs in a psyche ward.

  2. You do sound like you're dealing with a serious problem. However, Xanax isn't the answer.

Possiblity #1 : anxiety, just like you said. There are much better meds for long term anxiety that benzos.

#2 : Mania : This is the "up" part of bipolar disorder.

If you really want to get better, see your doctor and ask he/she what they think about the 2 possibilites. Don't just say "I want Xanax."

  3. Eazy, since you're thoughts are controlling who you are and what you're doing, it has become a problem.  Good on you for acknowledging the situation.  That's a big step and is heading in the right direction.

Obviously you wouldn't take life at breakneck speed if you didn't feel as though you had to.

I don't know about Xanax - some doctors might or they might have another alternative to suggest first.  You do need something to help slow you down a bit so you can take life at a better pace.

Exercise is a great suggestion and may be one you can try before and after school.  Give it a go - it won't hurt to try.

All the best to you. :-)

P.S. Just disregard cutting comments - it doesn't help anyone and they can get high blood pressure over their answers if they want.

  4. ehh... go for some weed.... always works

  5. Any doctor that prescribed xanax to a 20 year old is crazy, if you are getting things done and you are just spazzy, welcome to life.  to many people are pill dependent now days.

  6. he'd probably ask if you eat a lot of sugar or drink alot of soda.  if you can cut that stuff out, go for a run or long walk in the mornings and/or evenings.  that will produce alot of natural chemicals that are usually stuffed in those pills.

  7. Weed.  Its fantastic!
