What Missouri charities have a wish list of items they need donated?

Catholic Charites may have a need for certain items (I just went to yahoo.com and searched 'missouri and charities'):  http://www.ccstl.org  They will most likely be back in the office on Tuesday, the day after Labor Day.

Each of the Women's Shelters had lists for me.  One wanted diapers. Others wanted transportation so the women could get jobs while at the shelter- most arrived with no vehicle.  The city nearest you will have phone numbers of the shelters.

also consider asking schoolteachers which kids have no school supplies.  You can give directly to that child.  

Otherwise , the Salvation Army is your best bet.
