Over the years I have got into the Jazz and Blues scene, but I would like to know the names of artists and albums of more modern, upbeat music such as:

Even though Buddy Guy is not a "new artist", I HIGHLY suggest getting his new one "Skin Deep"  It's a very good one.  You can here a few samples on his web site.
