Well you have to take many tests and see if you have good tennis knowledge and good skills.

They look for many skills, here are a few.

Eyesight- You need this to see if its in or out, since as a captain its your call, so you will decide this.

Hearing- You need to also hear and see, when you listen you can see if the ball double bounces via eyesight =P

Calling- This means to have a good clear voice and say "Out!" or "Fault" etc..

Skill- You need to know the game of tennis and how to use the scorecard.
