What NBA game is better? NBA Live or NBA 2K

I am having a hard time deciding which of these games are better....a lil help please

nba live cause it's the original 2k8 has horrible graphics and S****y controls plus live is played by the pros most people who play 2k8 use to play live but they bought into the hype that it was, too much bandwagoners nowadays well hoped it helped

Look, normally for games, its a matter of preference.  However in this case, NBA 2k series is so much superior that its not even a question.  There are no gaming sites that would give NBA live a higher score.  There have been many sites that compare the two and the decision is unanimous, 2k8 is better, period.

I personally have played both and the 2k series blows live out of the water.  It is no competition but bare in mind that NBA 2k9 will come out in October 2008.  So if your deciding on which to buy now, you might want to put that into consideration as it will go out of date by October.

Edit:  Wow, it is a complete shame that majority of ppl who have answered have stated that Live is better.  Their reason? It's the original. Now I understand why NBA live has sales despite having an inferior product.  Ppl are so blinded by their opinion of the series they have followed that they are unwilling to admit that a new series has succeeded it.  Don't take those 2 liner answers seriously as they obviously do not know anything about games.  They are probably the same people that would bash super mario galaxy as the worst game ever and give metal gear solid a 23 out of 10.

NBA 2K9...HANDS DOWN..NO QUESTIONS ASKED.... i don't even no y ppl continue to ask these ?'s anymore...maybe by the end of this year ppl will c and start to open up there eyes....its like Lebron vs..Chuck atkins   1 on 1 ....     No Chance!!! nba  live is Dead..and not even hip hop can bring it back alive....

I have my problems for both.

Live: Bodies and movement are too soft. I feel there's another thing lacking I just can't find the words to describe it.

2K: The bodies and movement are soooooooo hard. They miss cheap easy open lay-ups. The faces are far from look-alike.
