What NLHE play makes you the most money consistently?

The play that has never seems to fail for me is going all in after the river with quads and an ace on the board. Every time, they have an ace and call to protect the tie. Once, i had 2 callers on this play.

  1. Yeah, pushing with the nuts generally works.

    The real answer is, there is no one play that always works.  You have to factor in what you have, what the other person likely has, and decide how much you need to bet to get him or her to do exactly what you want them do do, either fold to a bluff or call to a strong hand.  That action will vary depending on the person, if it's a cash game or tournament, stack sizes, and the board.
