im going to Cedar Point tomorrow and i want to know what i shoud not eat so i don't get sick. I plan on going on all the rides (except the Dragster!). I have never thrown up at an amusement park so i have a pretty strong stomach, i just dont want to take any chances. I always get queasy and nervous before any ride, but thats just nerves. is salad and pizza okay for lunch? i'm a little unsure...

  1. anything ok to eat, unless you get a sick stomack then dont eat anything too sweet, otherwize have fun and pig out, i think a salad and pizza is fine also a corn dog would be good.  just take a great from big rides for a little while after eating a dounut or stuff like that.  have fun!!!

  2. fried twinkies

  3. You can eat anything (unless you have allergies or something). Just don't eat till you're very very full. Sharing with a friend is always a good idea. have fun!

  4. You should be safe eating anything in the park. (unless you binge right before you go on a ride which would be dumb). But the food at Cedar Point is actually very good, I recommend the Potato French Fries or the Game Day Grill. Hope the weather is good for you!

  5. I suppose just eat light stuff. Nothin big or heavy.

Dont drink much eather. Thats never good.

  6. I'd get just a small snack while in the park if i were you. Salad and pizza are great. I went and got two medim fries and some chicken while at the park one time. then I rode on some more rolller coasters and never hurled.

  7. tacos

  8. The macho nachos at the taco stand by the mine ride. there delicious, but have made my friends sick after rides.

I love famous Dave's bbq, & there is one right outside the park, by the marina, its a good choice, because its an actual restaurant so you get to sit down and take your time to eat (let your stomach settle)

but on the other hand, Salad and pizza would be fine for lunch :]

  9. There's no real yes or no menu item, it's all what you want or don't want.  I do recommend though, if you eat a meal, hit a show or two afterwards to give your stomache time to digest it.  Most amusement park shows run about 20-30 minutes, some as long as 45 minutes.  That's a good break from rides, especially when you factor in the minimum wait time for most of their coasters is 1 hour at least.

For me, I try to stay away from really 'heavy' foods, like really greasy pizza or a heavy pasta dish.  You can also skip eating large meals and opt for smaller 'snack' sized meals instead like corn dogs and fries, but they're not as satisfying as a real sit down meal.
