What Network software do I need...........?

I would like to create a network that people can connect to and they will get a front website up. They wont be able to go to google ect without registering

Network software?

Hmmmmm... I think your looking for the creation of a Website.  A website is PART of the network, but has NOTHING to do with being THEE Network!

I would look at IIS or Apache.  Both are rather simple to set up.  It all depends on what you want running on the back end of this.  Is it a site for selling things?  Will you need encryption (HTTPS)? Is it just for blogging?

What do you mean by not being able to get to google with out registering?  Do you mean searching within your site?  That will not be difficult to do.  It also sounds like you will need to get a PKI Certificate so that you can HTTPS.

Make sure to remember to register your DNS so that you have a name for your site!
