What Nikon lens takes close up pictures?

i have a nikon d70s SLR and the only lens i have is the one that comes with it, but i would like a lens that takes close ups, can you please give me some suggestions..thanks.

You don't necessarily need a lens you can use filters that magnify and you can get several that are in varying degrees of magnification and you can stack them. This is the less expensive route to take. You can always get a macro lens that should do the trick. I use digital and film SLRs but I use filters without the use of special lenses (in most cases). You can try looking on eBay and find what you need a a fairly decent price just be sure that it's compatible with your camera!

probably the best ones will eb a prime macro lens,

either 50mm or 70mm prime with the ability to take macro, but u will more than likely be wanting to look at around £200 for these lenses, depends on ur budget?
