What Olympic event amazes you the most?

I am blown away by men's gymnastics. Esp. on the horse and the bar. On the horse their arm strength and timing is incredible and on the bar they go so fast before they dismount I think they might fly across the room. I love watching them.

Women's and Men's Gymnastic..those people are freaking AMAZING..

The Men's Pommel Horse today was AMAZING...

The event that amazes me the most is the women's uneven bars, though..I don't understand how they can switch from bar to bar so freaking quickly/easily!

All the gymnastics events amaze me.

But the ones that make me hold my breath are men's high bar and womens' balance beam.

High bar for the reason you stated ... it just looks like they're gonna FLY out of control!  And balance beam ... ohhhhhh .... HOW do they do that?  I think the potential for injury on beam must be huge!  I mean ... just the tiniest error in judgment could be disastrous, and that thing ain't made of feathers and bubble wrap!

Every time I watch a balance-beam routine, I am both astonished and terrified.

all gymnastics! its so cool what they do. a teacher at my skool was at the 1996 atlanta olympics and he got a gold medal  on the vault!

the whole olympic games are incredible from soccer to gymnastics from swimming to basketball from shooting to boxing from volleyball to running the olympics are amazing

Yeah, gymnastics is spectacular and great to watch and all (I love watching women's gymnastics), but I have to say cycling and marathons amaze me the most. How do they keep running and riding like that?!

Definitely the women's gymnastics. First, because I get to see my favorite Shawn Johnson whom I have been watching since 2005 and second, because of the amazing flips that they do. I like the uneven bars and the vault the most. They are just soooooooooo fun to watch(especially Shawn).

Gymnastics, humans defying logic. Track, mainly watching the electrifying athlete like Bolt. Basketball, our players attack the basket using great athleticism that no other team can match. And maybe a few others but those are my favorites.
