  1. What up Jaron K,

i think the Blazers will start the season off with Bayless and Roy in the backcourt.  Bayless is more of a shoot first type of point guard- but he reminds me of a Mike Bibby type of point guard- so i think he can still be pretty effective.

If Rudy Fernandez is a great playmaker than maybe they move Bayless to the Bench- but i think it'll be Bayless and Roy to start the season.

  2. Well, I like the idea of playing Roy and Bayless at the same time.  They are both off guards that can put the ball on the floor, make plays, and pass, even though neither are prototypical PGs.  If you want an actually PG, then you'll want one that can shoot, since the ball will almost always in the hands of either Roy or Bayless.

They do have Blake, who can knock down the three, but right now, Cassel might be a good fit.  They won't need him to play major minutes, he can straight up shoot (spreading the floor for Oden, Aldridge, etc), he gives the team some attitude, and he gives them something that the team needs, a lot of age.  He can give them a veteran presence.  Plus, this is coming from a guy who doesn't really like Cassell, but he would be a good fit.

  3. That's a good question. Bayless will be the 2 on offence and roy the 1 but on defence they switch baylees will be the 1 on defence and roy the 2. That way bayless gets to shoot with a point guard on him and roy gets to guard a slower guard because he guards the 2.
