What PS3 game should i buy??

Question

I'm getting a PS3 on friday and i dont know what games to buy. My boyfriend is getting GTA4. Previously i have played (and liked) tomb raider, golden compass, crash bandicoot, harry potter, rayman, duke nukem, monkey island, zoo tycoon. Mainly like role playing games like tomb raider really, but open to suggestions. I prefer games that arent really easy but not ones that are in possible either.

Pls help as i want to get the most out of it!! Thnx

Well, just to start off, I dont think that your boyfriend should get GTA4, I got it for my PS3, and the game constantly freezes and bombs out!!!

The beauty of the PS3 is that once you have done a software upgrade, you will be able to play PS2 and even PS games on your PS3 console, so you can chose from old classics that you always enjoyed, and their prices are lower too!

Hey i liked all of those games..im a chick and my bf has a ps3 aswell.IVe tryed bout most of the games..not much out for us girlsbut, .I cant get enough of call of duty 4...playing on the ps3 network but you need broadband to play this...awsome u should give it a go

BTW me and my bf got this game bout 6 months ago and we are both playing it nonstop still u wont regret it..lots of girls play:)
