What Pokemon game should i get?

I'm into the first generation pokemon (blue, red,and yellow version) and i havent purchased a pokemon game in a while. Should i purchase a 3rd gen pokemon game for my gameboy advance? Or should i buy a nintendo ds and get pearl or diamond? I'm afraid of it taking a long time to learn all the new pokemon, should i be? Which game do you think id like the best? Thanks!

diamond cause if you get wifi you can battle people around the world

Dont buy any game yet. Pokemon platanium is coming out in spring 2009. Buy platanium..Its also going to have 5 new pokemon.
