I have a Dr appointment this afternoon and was wondering what things do I need to ask my Dr. What do I need checked, what do I need to know,

etc

I have been TTC #1 for 7 months and am going to the Dr's today, as I have started bleeding 2 weeks after AF. I have been doing an OPK this month as AF was early, and it would seem that I didn't ovulate..... So i thought i'd make the best of the visit and get checked out also.

Your help is appreciated...... a baby is wanted very much in my family!

Baby dust to you all TTC

  1. Have bloodwork done to check for PCOS.

  2. There is no need to worry yet.  Unless you have been charting your BBT, then you still may have ovulated without catching the surge.  OPKs can miss that surge, especially if you only test once a day, and especially if that one time was with first morning urine.

If you are still convinced that you did not ovulate, ask your doctor for advice.  He will need to do blood tests on certain days of your cycle.  Good luck!

  3. just have blood work done ask about the benefits of clomid.good luck

  4. If your periods have always been irregular, mention PCOS to your doctor.  They would have to do bloodwork to check, but pcos is a major cause of infertility in women of child-bearing years.  I have PCOS and soon get to start my fertility meds.  I know that everyone is different and therefore their questions are, but they should be able to answer anything for you!  Also, I don't know if your doctor is a Reproductive Endocrinologist, but if you do have pcos, or are still having ttc problems, they would be able to help cuz they are really knowledgable of pcos and infertility.  Good luck with ttc!!! Here is a link to some websites of questions you could ask!   :o)
