For me it is "On no soul doth Allah place a burden greater than it can bear" 2:286. I find I remember it during those hard times and it makes everything seem a bit easier.

  2. Well, there are many.

    1) There is a warning and a reminder to the believers to be humble:

    017.037 وَلا تَمْشِ فِي الأرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَخْرِقَ الأرْضَ وَلَنْ تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولا

017.037 Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou canst not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height.

Al-Qur'an, 017.037 (Al-Isra [Isra, The Night Journey, Children of Israel])

    2) Making the heart tender -- How the disbeliever's property and relations won't do any good for him on the Last Day:

070.011 Though they will be put in sight of each other,- the sinner's desire will be: Would that he could redeem himself from the Penalty of that Day by (sacrificing) his children,

070.012 His wife and his brother,

070.013 His kindred who sheltered him,

070.014 And all, all that is on earth,- so it could deliver him:

070.015 By no means! for it would be the Fire of h**l!-

070.016 Plucking out (his being) right to the skull!-

    Al-Qur'an, 070.011-016 (Al-Maarij [The Ascending Stairways])

    3) Believer's attitude towards the ignorant:

    025.063 وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الأرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلامًا

    025.063 And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!";

    Al-Qur'an, 025.063 (Al-Furqan [The Criterion, The Standard])

    Those among tons of others...

  3. The whole of Sura 81... I find the poetry incredibly moving:

'In the name of the merciful and compassionate God.

1 When the sun is folded up,

2 And when the stars do fall,

3 And when the mountains are moved,

4 And when the birth of the she camels shall be neglected,

5 And when the beasts shall be crowded together,

6 And when the seas shall surge up,

7 And when souls shall be paired with bodies,

8 And when the girl who was buried alive shall be asked

9 for what sin she was slain,'

This is just an extract from it, but you can see how deep it is

  6. Hal jaza il ahesan il al ahesan...... VERSE 60 OF CHAPTER AR REHMAN.....MEANING....IS THERE A REWARD FOR GOODNESS OTHER THAN THE GOODNESS ITSELF

  7. قال تعالى (واذا سألك عبادي عني فاني قريب أجيب دعوة الدعائي اذا دعان)and in english Allah saidTHAT IF THE BELIEVERS ASK ABOUT ME ,I AM CLOSED ANSWERING THE MAN WHO ASKS ME SOMETHING

  8. 34. That Day shall a man flee from his brother,

    35. And from his mother and his father,

    36. And from his wife and his children.

    37. Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others.

    38. Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islâmic Monotheism).

    39. Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise).

    40. And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained;

    41. Darkness will cover them,

    42. Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allâh, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers).

surah abasa, last 8 ayats...ive memorized them too ^^

this one prevents me from doing sins no matter how much i want to do them

    11. But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy.

    12. And because they were patient and constant, He will reward them with a Garden and (garments of) silk.

    13. Reclining in the (Garden) on raised thrones, they will see there neither the sun's (excessive heat) nor (the moon's) excessive cold.

    14. And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility.

    15. And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and goblets of crystal,-

    16. Crystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes).

    17. And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil,-

    18. A fountain there, called Salsabil.

    19. And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls.

    20. And when thou lookest, it is there thou wilt see a Bliss and a Realm Magnificent.

    21. Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy.

    22. "Verily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised."

  12. Salam for youFor me is surah 94 Al Insyirah verse 5 ,6 really in fifficulty there is an easiness and surah 1` Al Fatihah  verse 5 only to You (Allah) we worship and only to You we would ask for help.

  13. for me it is :

قل يا عبادي الذين اسرفوا على أنفسهم لا تقنطوا من رحمة الله إن الله يغفر الذنوب جميعا إنه هو الغفور الرحيم

  14. I hold the Qur'anic verse "Qul, Ya ibadiyallazeena asrafoo ala anfusihim la taqnatoo min Rahmathillah.  Innallaha Yagfiru zunooba jamee'a.  Innahu Huval Gafooru Raheem--Chapter 39 Az-Zumar, Verse 53" (Oh, Mohammed (PBUH), Say, Oh, slaves of Allah who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: Verily, Allah  forgives all sins.  Truly He is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful).

This is the verse on which there is hope for all servants of Allah. All human beings except the Prophets are sinners. There is a narration from the Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) that Allah forgives all sins if a man/woman seeks forgiveness from Allah after reciting this Quranic verse.

  15. Last verse of Chapter Al-Baqara, and its holy verse no. 2:102 also.

  16. Salaam!

Hmm, I wish i had memorized more verses in the Quran Majeed that I can answer ur question better...but sister, believe me this verse has put me at ease as well when going through hard times! because then I kno that i am strong enough to handle such thing, and Allah knows! so it is up to me to have Sabr

There is a verse in Qur'an that says:

"After every difficulty, there is relief" (Qur'an 94:5,6)

This verse also fills me with hope, and lets me know that whatever hard time I am going through, it will pass, and life goes on, Alhamdulilah

  17. 4:34. Remember Muslims you thumb me down. You are disagreeing with Allah.

Some Muslim certainly does not agree with Allah's words.

  18. The one that proofs the essence of Sufism: "Seek Knowledge and I will give u knowledge."

Ta'ala is not refering to ALgebra (lolz) when he says knowledge, he means Sirr Al-Asrar (the secret of secrets), what? what?

what do u know about that? I dont know nothing yet, i cant wait til i learn "nothing," u c, once u have recognixed that u know nothing, then u will know.

Just like when the Prophet of Allah (SAW) was wondering about the creatures, earth, etc, Gibrail (ameen) cam to him.

U can touch and c the skies, all from inside within u, what this is refering to is enlightenment, since our soul is from Ta'ala, we can reach everything in the universe, and continue to go deeper and deeper, just like Jalal Jalalhu has no beginning and no end, Sura Nur: "He is neither of the west nor of the east" that means he has no beginning and no end) we can go deeper into the realm of the hiddn or knowledge.

  19. He had came to u a messenger from yourselves ...Etc sorat al taoba
