I have always wanted to be a model and wondered what qualitys i need to become one.

Im Eurasian (welsh/ japanese)

Ive Got Medium Brown Hair

Ive Got Hazel Eyes

Im 5'7

Size 5 feet

In my opinion, and i'm not just being nice, you are really pretty, and you could probably go into modelling. Go for it, you've got nothing to loose!

You need to work on your skin.  Agencies want polaroids of you with no makeup, and full length in plain bikini.  My friend is signed with Ford in NY, every few months she has to update the polaroids.  Skin should be close to flawless.

As far as your look, it all depends on what the client is looking for.  So, stick with it!

the qualities you need to be a model are, beauty, height, confidence, and grace. I think you could be a model, but bare in mind the fashion community is fairly racist, so you'd have to overcome prejudice to be a model.

I've noticed that people on here say "you aren't model material" a LOT. Which makes no sense to me, because anyone can go and train to be a model. Clearly, people have no idea what "model material" is, because they need all sorts of different looking people for models.

You are pretty.

It helps that you're tall too.

wow european and japanese, thats exotic. modeling agencies love when girls have these kind of mixtures because it makes them look exotic. dont listen to what other ppl have to say to you, you can do it. myself, i didnt really consider myself pretty, but i was the best looking thing at my homecoming dance with the dress i picked out, and they accepted me to beauty pagaents.

your already exotic, so thats a bonus.

Here are the qualities needed to be a model(i tried opening your pics but my browsers having probs)

Height: think between 5'7 and 5'11

symmetry(facial features must be in harmony with eachother)

strong cheekbones.

healthy and toned body(must be taken care of really well)

These I've heard are must haves,other things like foot size shouldn't be an issue(unless you want to be a foot model)

It isnt easy being a model.

You have to have something about you other than looks.

You have to be ruthless - are you?

You have to be ready to fight the next girl for the job?  - Could you?

You have to be willing to cut your hair and change yourself just to get the job?  Would you be?

You have to do uncomfortable things in strange places.

It isnt all gliding along catwalks in beautiful clothes.

You have to be not at all body shy because you will strip off behind the curtain for a change with half a dozen people groping at you to dress you, make up, hair and then who push you out to walk for two minutes and then go through the whole thing again.

They may make you lose weight?  You prepared for that?

It is a world rife with drugs and people with eating disorders.

Are you able to cope with all that and still remain sane and strong?

You have the shelf life of a loaf of bread.

Very few people actually go on to make the big time and the big money and travel.  Most end up in middle range magazines and catalogue work.

If you can do most of the above then have a go.  But honey - prepare to be disappointed.
