What Questions Should You Ask a Chiropractor as a new patient

Do you advise against vaccinations?

Do you claim chiropractic is good for disease prevention (eg Diabetes) ?

Do you recommend chiropractic for infants and children?

Do you have any products or devices you sell?

Do you believe that chiropractic restores innate energy?

Do you advise "tuneups" or "maintenance" chiropractic?

If he/she answers yes to any of the above, find somebody else.

"Can Chiropractic be used to cure nonmusculoskeletal conditions?"

If he says yes, run away very fast.

It would be better to let the Chiropractor ask questions about the reason you are in his/her office. After examination he/she should be able to give you the definition of the problem and suggset what should be done.

Then is the time to ask questions...has the DC dealt with problem similiar to yours? ...what is his/her success rate...what does he/she pla to do to deal with the situation? How long shuld it take? If you do not receive satisfactory answers...go to a different DC.
