  1. Interview for Canadian visa isn't compulsory. Applicants will generally be called for an interview only if the immigration officers find any doubts in documents that they submit for visa. If called for an interview, be prepared to answer any question relating to your documents.

Some of the sample questions may be:

Why you want to do in Canada?

What are your sources of income?

    Who will sponsor your stay?

Why do you need a multiple entry visa?

How can you assure you‘ll come back?

Do you intend to work in Canada?

Why haven’t you got any recommendation letters?

These are the questions you may be asked. But be assured there is chance of not being asked any of these questions too. So review your documents and pick questions from it on your own and prepare for answer for those questions.

  2. Are you applying in person? or by mail?

You can check the canadian embassy in your area for the requirements and procedures.

Take note that, even a single entry visa, you can go back and forth from the US and canada, as long as you visa is not expired, and you're not going out of both country.

Usually multiple entry visa from Canada, do not have the same validity as US, 5 years or something it is usually around 1 1/2 to 3 yrs.

and usually, like your US visa interview, it will be the same questions, sources of income, purpose of the visit and etc.

  3. A Green Card is a U.S A. government issued document.  That has nothing to do with a Canadian government issued document.  There are two separate countries involved here, they each have their own rules and regulations.

I would say that some of the questions on your application for the Canadian papers, would be..

your full legal name, and a birth certificate and birth date  and proof of this. .  Where were you born and what is your citizenship now.  Your parents names, mothers before she was married.  Your parents birth dates and proof of that.. Your permanent address now and what it will be when you get into the new country.  Many many more questions...there is no end to the questions that you will be asked and you have to have papers to prove your answers.  It will cost you a lot of money to get things certified, and copied.  I advise you to get a immigration lawyer.
