What RCA outputs do I use for an equalizer?

I have a Sony CDX-GT71w head unit and all it has are front rear and sub(mono) RCA outputs. And I'm not sure wich one if any to use to go to my equalizer... Thanks

  1. it depends on what you are going to use the equalizer for.

    If you are going to use it for subs only,then use the sub rca.if you are going to use it to control your front and rear speakers(not the sub) use the front rca.If you are going to use it to control everything(sub and speakers) use the rear RCA.

  2. equalizers will have multiple inputs/outputs for fronts, rears, and subs.  plug in what you need to and there you go
