What REALLY happened to TWA 800?

The flight from JFK that went down off Long Island years ago. The US Government said it was wiring in a fuel tank.

I heard that it was shot down by a stray missile that homed in on it. A tragic error admittedly but a very good cover up.

It was hit by a missile accidental by our own government.Then a big cover up.At the time there were pictures of the smoke plume of the missile coming from the ground to the plane.

I will never believe it was gas in the tanks that ignited....too many 747's around before and after.  

It was shot down by Al Quaeda. It was one of the bigest cover ups in history - until 09/11 took place.
