And they go back to 1983, so you don't need to pick something from 2 years ago. But if you feel like picking something recent that is alright.

  1. DANI CALIFORNIA...ALL THE DIFFERENT GROUPS THEY TELL ABOUT.

  2. heres my list...

    Otherside

    Under the Bridge

    Scar Tissue

    By the Way

i really like otherside and by the way tho...

but im a huge RHCP fan

  3. Any song that refers to Hillel Slovak or Anthony Kiedis's drug addiction.

"This is the Place" is the best one I can think of.  It talks about his stepdad, who is the one that got him into drugs:  "I don't want to do it like my daddy did / I don't want to give it to my baby's kid"

And it talks about his coping with Slovak's death.  "On the day my best friend died, I could not keep my copper clean".

This is seriously one of the best songs they sing.

EDIT:  And by 'stepdad', I mean 'dad'.

Ghost:  And yeah, I pretty much idolize this band.  If there's a single band from this decade (even though they're over two decades old) that will be remember 50 years later, it will be the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  And as far as I'm concerned, Frusciante is a minor god.

But the band has a sad history.  Sorry about your friend--I can't even imagine...

  4. Otherside, reminds me of my childhood, used to always listen to this song, By The Way, Californication, Scar Tissue & of course Under The Bridge every friday when me and my family would go eat pizza at me-n-eds

  5. Party On Your... nevermind...

    lol.

    Scar Tissue.

I've had some times with that song...

  6. Ooooh. Love the Peppers.

Breaking the Girl meant a lot to Anthony. As well as (obviously) Scar Tissue, Under the Bridge and Californiacation.

Porcelain is a cute slow song too.

  7. well looking over my entire collection of rhcp stuff. (yes i have it all) i think wet sand stands out the most.

    idk why

    but its incredibly appealing.

heartfelt and sweet but bitter at the same time.

    its lovely.

  8. I say Under the Bridge.

  9. scar tissue because its inspirational :)

  10. I absolutely LOVE "taste the pain" , "soul to squeeze" and "my lovely man", three of my fave RHCP songs ever.  And I agree with Shakespeare, John Frusciante is one of the best guitarists ever...

  11. It really would have to be Under The Bridge. Very touching song. Or Taste The Pain about Hillel Slovak.

  12. probably "ronald reagan's earwax"

the melody is beautiful and it reminds me of a simpler time when me and you worked at the mall.

  13. scar tissue

  14. around the world....
