What Rugby Jersey Should I Get Him?

Question

I'm on my way to Europe (France, Germany, Italy and Austria) and my BF lives, breathes, eats, sleeps rugby. Since I know absolutly nothing about it... other than when to cheer when he scores a try, I want to get a him a Rugby jersey when I'm over seas.

Which teams are there? Which is better? Any links so I can see what they look like??

The best European nations are the six taking part at Six Nations: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales http://www.rbs6nations.com/en/home.php formerly known as Five Nations: Italy's been invited to join a few years ago.

Worldwide, you should add New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Samoa.

If you want true passion of Rugby then it has to be the Wales shirt.

Alternatively go for the New Ospreys Shirts - they are the best team

in Wales and your friend will like this new slogan for the England Rugby shirt which dons the O2 emblem.

We can't beat the Ospreys plus 2 other blokes from Welsh Clubs.

This is a joke as Wales beat England at Twickenham when they went onto Win the Six Nations in 2008, your friend will find it funny, you just have to visualise this written in conjunction with the O2 emblem on the shirt.

i'd try and find him a local club's shirt from where ever your staying. France and Italy will be your best bets as Austria and Germany do not play much Rugby and it's not a popular sport there

i suggest getting him a club shirt as international shirts are more widely available, so he is most likely able to get a France or Italy international shirt near where he lives, but club shirts are harder to come by and he will probably appreciate it a lot more
