  1. don't drink---it is bad for the baby

  2. Don't drink or take any drugs.  Ask doctor about prescription medications.

Start taking prenatal vitamins as soon as possible.

Don't engage in VIGOROUS exercise (ie: running) during the last 3 months of your pregnancy.  But it's okay in the beginning.

Most cleaning is fine, just be careful not to inhale fumes from strong cleaning agents.

  3. yes, cleaning is fine.  Just make sure you're in a well ventilated area (I was a maid and cleaned houses for the first 5 months of my pregnancy).  Of course, once you get that belly it gets harder and at some point, impossible.

You want to avoid carnival rides, certain types of food, skiing, things that common sense would say not to do while pregnant.

What the first person said about raising your arms over your head, that is a silly myth.  It's perfectly fine to raise your arms over your head.

Go get yourself a copy of "What To Expect When You're Expecting" by Heidi Murkoff.  It's the ultimate pregnancy bible and can answer a lot of questions!

  4. you'll hear ALOT of old wives tales. i think you should check out some informative websites (babycenter.com, americanpregnancy.org and pregnancycalander1.com). i used these and i learned soo much. you can also buy a couple of books if you want. btw, these websites will track your pregnancy for you and let you know what new things are happening. personally, i recommend that you don't eat too much junk food because studies have shown that it decreases body muscles and increases fat. don't eat too much fish and make sure that all meats are fully cooked. don't overheat yourself (whether working out or taking a hot bath). don't get into jacuzzis, ride a bike, jump on a trampaline or pump your b*****s while pregnant. btw, some words of advice, always make an emergency bag for baby and you because i had a great healthy pregnancy and then at 31 weeks my water broke and i had my son 2 months early. it was the hardest thing i've ever been through so prepare for everything. also, as you get further along, decide how you want to give birth and try to educate yourself as much as possible. i hope you have a great, healthy pregnancy and a wonderful beautiful baby :-)

  5. YOU SHOULD ACT NORMAL!!!

  6. you are able to clean, but just stay away from harsh chemicals when cleaining.  You can lean over, but I would take it easy during the first trimester...let the floors get dirty.

  7. You can do EVERYTHINg you used to do just maybe a lil slower... and dont reach over your head when u get further along it will wrap the umbilical cord around the babys neck

  8. Yep it's fine to carry on as normal you can still bend down to clean the floors.

Don't lift heavy thing's, don't overdo it if your tired take a break or have a nap, eat plenty of food in small portions through the day by doing this and not eating a big meal you won't get so bloated and sick.

If your a smoker then try to quit now...if you can't don't be tempted to try quitting again further along into the pregnancy as i did this and it caused my daughter to go into distress an be born at 32 weeks.

Take your prenatal vitamins, accept any help people offer you, sleep as much as you can now because you'll hardly be sleeping at all in a few months time, if you see nappies/wipes/dummies/bottles or baby lotions and powders on sale then start stocking up... i did this an my son is 7 weeks old and i havent had to buy another thing yet.

an last of all make your partner give you foot rubs an back rubs.

  9. Ofcourse it is ok to do chores.  And to carry shopping.  The only time to stop doing these is when hazardous chemicals are involved - so no scrubbing the toilet with some nasty chemical - check the back of bottles.

Apart from that you can help out with chores no problem.

  10. No douching no lifting heavy things try not to stress yourself no hot hot bathes .

  11. Crack!

  12. If you are going to miscarry there really isnt anything you can do to cause a miscarriage or to stop one for that matter.  With that being said, you are safe to do all your regulare cleaning routines.

I would however avoid lifting heavy objects, large amounts of fish, and of course any other fall prone activities such as Roller Skating, standing on furtiture to reach something, pushing or pulling large and heavy objects like a couch or something....

Good luck, I hope its an awsome pregnancy for you!!

  13. yeah you can clean up while you are pregnant.

  14. don't jump on the trampoline

  15. Drugs

  16. do NOT drink or smoke

    help me plzzz
