The one single most  quality that made America great was the fact that people could live here and not be oppressed by thier government.

That was then, this is now. Unfortunately - our greatness is wanning. And yes - its directly proportional to the amount of intereference our government provides in our daily life. If they would just get the **** back out of the way we could become the greatest country in the world AGAIN.

Stop creating needless laws, regulations, and welfare programs. Let the people live thier lives unhindered by government intrusion and the market place will abound with prosperity, ingenuity and a freedom so inviting that even the other countries around the world will want to emulate us instead of hate us.

The fact that the united States of America chose trading at a single, set price as opposed to bartering that the rest of the world adopted has helped the U.S. enormously in making gigantic financial strides.

It also has an elected and stable government which is seen to uphold the principles it represents. As an outsider, it is interesting to see older Americans maturing emotionally while the country is disintegrating from within due to the bad influences of drugs of addiction throughout the general population.

Shoving their Indigenous people into reservations which those people have been forgotten about by the rest of America and in some cases the world.

Equal opptunities for African Americans came in the mid 20th century.

There seems to be a Black History month yet no month for Indigenous people.
