What STAR WARS Ship is This?

Okay--so my older brother had this Star Wars ship thingee when he was a kid.

It was a rectangular flat 'spaceship' that clicked into some sort of base structure. (It was fairly large) You could open up the top--kinda like a laptop--and play inside with your figures.

What is the name of this ship?

    Naboo Royal Staship from Episode 1? late 90s

    Possibly even the GIJoe Defiant from the late 80s

    Was it for the 3.75" figures or a smaller scale?  Also what year about, 70s, 80s or 90s ?
