I think this is great.  This, as I have said many times over the past 24 hours, is what the American Dream is.  Many people speak of Barack Obama delivering his speech on the anniversary of Dr. King's beautiful "I Have a dream" speech (I get teary-eyed thinking about that speech).  But what Dr. King wanted, what he envisioned what he SAID in that speech was a unity of the human race--equality in the human race.  Barack's campaign has severed his own party, has caused many racist remarks on both sides, and has nothing to do with Dr. King's dream.  And here is another fact:  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican!

John McCain's VP choice is more shallow and superficial than Fox News reporting. McCain's VP choice is based on divisive gender politics - his only hope of winning in November is to persuade staunch Hillary supporters to vote for him based solely on the candidate's gender - rather than leadership.

However, women who respect their own best interests will choose Obama and Biden who have a proven track record of standing up for women's issues - reproductive privacy, pay equity, freedom from violence and discrimination.
