What Season is it in Australia?

These are a few questions that have been bugging me for awhile now. i live in the Northern Hemisphere and it's July and Summer right now. But what month is it in australia?

is it july as well?

and is it winter there right now since it's in the southern hemisphere?

do they have winter in June-Aug. and Summer in Dec-Feb?

and is there christmas in Summer? and not in winter like ours?

The months is the same, so it's July in Australia too. It's now winter there and Christmas is on the same day which is in summer. I lived in Oz for a year and it was weird having Christmas on a really hot sunny day!
