Please suggest anything for the car ride or just for the visit in general. Thank you! :]

  1. This is plenty of stuff. If you forgot anything, there are special places in Pennsylvania that can supply what you need. They are called Wal Mart and Target.

  2. Deodorant

    Shampoo and Conditoner

Hair accessories, flat iron/curling iron, etc

    Shower gel, loofah,

    Razor

    Make-up remover

Band-aids and Neosporin just in case!

Aspirin and any medications that you take

    flipflops

    Sneakers

    socks

    Extra underwear just in case!

I would leave all your good jewelry at home, you don't want to lose it!

    Camera

    Toothpaste

Bathing suit if you're going swimming

    Sun block

Aloe Vera if going to the beach, you'll need if you if get sun burned!

For the car ride, it seems like with the iPod and the books, you've got that covered.  I would bring some snacks though.  You can bring either a mini cooler with some drinks and some chips and things.  Or just bring some cold drinks along and some chips and your favorite snacks and even some deli sandwiches you can have made before the trip, unless you have some planned stops along the way.

What you can do is as you go along your day, write down the things that you use, and as you use them, write them down and those are the things you're going to want to take with you.

For things that can open and spill, put them in ziplock bags, cap first, and then, if it's like your toothpaste and it doesn't fit all the way, put it in cap first, wrap the rest of the bag around it and then wrap a rubber band around the bag and tube.  Now, if it should open, it opens inside the ziplock bag and not all over your luggage and clothing ruining everything!

You can also bring a grocery bag or two, the plastic ones for dirty laundry and underwear to put that in and keep it separate for your trip home.

I hope this helps and that you have a fun and safe trip!
