Question:

What Should I Do In Cuba??

I'm going to Cuba the last week of June, and staying at Playa Pesquero. What do you suggest I do?

And not to sound like an arrogant tourist, but I don't really want to see the "real" Cuba. I plan on coming back many more times for that, but this time, I just want to stay at the resort. Is there anything you think is a must? Snorkeling, wind surfing, visiting the disco...

Thanks so Much in advance!!

  1. I totally understand that feeling. I've done that before and just stayed on the resort for the holiday. Snorkelling, windsurfing, pedal boats are fun to do. It's a great way to maximize the beach. Beach and pool volleyball, especially with the Entertainment Team is so much fun! It'll be a great way to work on your tan while doing fun stuff. Then you can relax lying out in the sun to 'just chill'.

If there is horseback riding at the resort, go for it...and biking as well.

Another nice thing to do is if you can go for a nice walk along the beach before breakfast. It's quiet on the beach and so peaceful. Then have a cappuccino or a Cuban coffee in the lounge area and enjoy the fresh air.

Enjoy the salsa lessons they provide and the awesome mojitos. Try the a la carte restaurants too. Make sure you book enough time ahead and get dolled up. A day out in the sun and then getting dolled up at night will just be the pampering holiday you'll get.

Make sure you spend time with the staff and have fun with them. They are so much fun and you feel right at home. Have fun, relax and enjoy your trip.

    Buen viaje :-)

  2. Eat donkey meat.

  3. Snorkel if you can, the Holguin coast where you are going is beautiful! Your resort should have plenty of water activities like taking out a catamaran. They will take you out if you just want to go for a ride. The only 'must' I can think of is to be courteous to the employees who work there. Cubans are the friendliest people I have ever met in all my travels through the Carribbean.

  4. here are a few sites where you  will find lots of info.  Be sure to go to Havana, that is a must.
