I think an in-between outfit (semi-dressy) is fine. I would avoid t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. A nice skirt or slacks, and blouse is fine.

Dress nicely. Its respectful to do so.

Dress varies. Some girls go all out with big dresses and everything, some people even wear jeans.

I'd find something in the middle. Nice blouse, nice pants/skirt, accessorize. If it's during the day you can probably get away with something a little less formal.
