What Sidekick cell phone should I get?!?

well first of all the slide is discontinued! I would go for the new sidekick! It is just called the T-Mobile sidekick and it is like 100 bux less than the lx. plus you can change it shells and stuff so that you can make it unique! :-) Hope I helped and plz pick me 4 best answer!

The following are my OPINIONS of these Sidekicks...

1. LE TH Sidekick LX

This phone is WAY too expensive. But I guess that's what you get with a "limited edition" The only difference between this and the regular LX is the designs and Tony Hawk's name. You can buy a skin or face plate for a regular LX and have it say YOUR name. I don't recommend this phone unless you are a die-heart Tony Hawk fanatic and can spit out a few hundred dollars.

2. Sidekick LX

I own this phone and it is by far the best Sidekick out of all the previous 'Kicks. I really enjoy it. You might have to pay a pretty penny for it, but the price tag has gone down, though. It's sleek in design and really classy. With the new OTA update out, it has the same features as the 2008 and Tony Hawk.

3. Sidekick 2008

I haven't had this phone, but my best friend does. It's smaller than the LX which means it has a smaller screen and keyboard. I don't like that because I enjoy having a "PSP feeling phone." Many, many people disagree though and like it being smaller. It has a slightly better camera than the LX, but no flash. But, eh? It's a phone, not a digital camera. I don't like the look of the 2008 because it looks and feels...sort of cheap (no offence to Sidekick '08 owners). It's sort of like the Sidekick ID on steroids. Haha. Although, the customizable shells are a nice accessory to the phone.

Basically, it depends on personal preference...

If you want to be flashy and have Tony Hawk's name and designs on your phone AND money is no object, then get the LE Tony Hawk.

If you want a sleek phone with a classy finish, and you want a nice big handheld, then get the LX.

If you want a smaller phone and the fun of changing up your own shells and such, and you want to spend a little less than you would on the LX, then get the 2008.

In the end, it's more about which phone looks more appealing to you because they practically now have all the same features. The price tags and physical features are your deciding factors. I suggest you go to a local T-Mobile store and play around with all three to see which you like the most. Also, inquire about pricing and how much it will cost you to purchase each phone becase detailed pricing depends on the customer. Also, if this is your first Sidekick, be very, very careful! They are very easy to break. (I'm using on my 4th LX, haha.)

you really only have 3 choices

and they are the LX, slide and 08

the LX is expensive..

the slide is the worse sidekick i have had, many problems

and the 08 i havent had but messed with. i like it, and it is the same price as the slide.
