What Sims To Buy For PC? ?

Question

I want to buy a Sims game for my PC (I have it for my DS) but I don't know what one to buy. I want one that is fun and like real life. And I don't want the pet one!

All I have is the Sims Deluxe Edition, with some expansion packs! I love it!

The Sims 2, Delux edition, with The Sims 2 Apartment life.

If you want a car, you can get  Nightlife, or download one off  The Sims 2.com It is a lot easier then www.modthesims2.com

Any newer sims game for the pc requires that sims 2 is installed. I would go with the newest one being they are all basically the same.

I agree with Dan.  Don't go out and buy just any Sims 2 game as you must have one of the games that comes with the base game as he stated.  I personally don't really like Open for Business.  It's not a bad game, it's just that it can be hard to run a business.  If you like the idea of your sims running their own business though, that's the one that you want.  You can have a baby with any of the Sims 2 games that are made for a PC, so you don't need a special one for that.  I own Pets myself, but I don't like that one either and may actually uninstall it.  My favorites are Nightlife and Seasons.  If you are family oriented, then first buy The Sims 2 Double Deluxe as Dan suggested and then if you want to add an expansion pack that adds a lot for the family to do buy Seasons.

ETA -- If you go out and buy The Sims 2 Double Deluxe, you will have cars, be able to go out on dates and your adult sims can have babies.  You will not actually need to buy any other Sims 2 games to do all that as The Sims 2 Double Deluxe comes with Nightlife added to it.  Nightlife comes with cars, restaurants, bowling alleys, and dance places.

I see that if you read the answer that Dan provided, he already told you all this.  I'm only answering as well to assure you that he is correct.  If you pick a best answer then pick Dan's.

If you don't already have the Sims 2 installed, then don't buy any of the expansion packs yet! You need to have the original game installed to play them, so I recommend getting The Sims 2 Double Deluxe because it comes with the original game, The Sims 2 Nighltife expansion pack, and The Sims 2 Celebration Stuff.

Nightlife lets you do lots of things such buy cars and go on dates, Celebration Stuff adds items to the game that let you have the perfect party.

When you have that I would also recommend Open for Business expansion pack because it lets create your own business and make a lot of money.

And yes you can have a baby.

XD i found open for buisness intresting and it gave me something to do for a couple of months

but i recently bought the newest expansion pack , sims 2 apartment life,

but to me theyre both fun!
