  1. If you're that tall, I'd go to a bike shop and be properly fitted to a bike.  Nothing is worse than riding a bike that's too small.

  2. I was just at a bike store yesterday and they measured me in a Large. I'm 14 and 5'10.

Although the guy above me has some good points. We all have different sized legs and arms. So  you never know.

  3. I wouldn't recommend buying a bike online unless/until you were sized on one in person. Height is part of the equation, but it is not the only parameter. Some people have proportionally longer torsos or longer legs. If I were you I'd go look at the manufacturer's website and find a dealer near you that carries that bike and get fitted on it and test ride it. Also, don't assume that being sized on one type of bike will translate exactly to the same size on a different type of bike. All bikes have different geometries, so they can vary.

I know buying online can usually be cheaper, but some stores will offer price matching. Doesn't hurt to ask. It'd be best to buy a bike at a local bike shop because most have benefits such as free tune-ups and more importantly because they have warranties. If something goes wrong if you buy it online, you might have to pay to ship it back and be without a bike for awhile. Or worse yet, you might not have any warranty support at all. Good luck
