  1. 4-6GB they can hold over 1000 songs so yeah

  2. 2G,

  3. 10 gigs would be more than sufficient.

  4. Well, lets see..

I have an Ipod video classic that is 80 gigs..

right now i have 2000 songs on it and there is like.. TUNS of space left..

you should probubly get an 8 or 10 gig nano:)

  5. 2gb would be fine. it can hold up to 500

  6. You can choose from the iPod Shuffle, Classic, Touch, Nano.

The shuffle is light, cute, and easy to carry around. The iPod Classic supports video just like some of the other iPods, and it uses a hard drive to store your songs. The iPod Touch is a MP4 that has a 3.5 inch touch screen and supports WI-FI connection and iPhone 2.0 Software. The iPod Nano is great for gym workout, it comes in 6 different amazing colors. But to store about 300 songs, you can actually just buy a 2GB iPod Shuffle.

    1GB Shuffle: 240 songs.

    2GB Shuffle: 500 songs.

    4GB Nano: 1000 songs.

    8GB Nano: 2000 songs.

80GB Classic: 20000 songs. (Hard Drive)

160GB Classic: 40000 songs. (Hard Drive)

    8GB Touch: 1750 songs.

    16GB Touch: 3500 songs.

    32GB Touch: 7000 songs.

For your mom, with all those CDs, I would very much recommend the iPod Shuffle or Classic. The shuffle stores enough for what she's asking for, and the Classic allows her to store songs outta the bounds!
