  1. I live on Long Island too and have a  4/3....so you should do great with that....and the water only gets in the fourties during the winter =)

  2. 3/4mm no doubt.  I have a body glove vapor it is the warmest thing you will ever wear.  It has kept me warm on days that the water was 33 degrees.  I live in nj and it gets just as cold here lol.  Get thick booties like 5mm or 7mm (not that you need all that, but its just so cozy warm :) ) gloves prob like 3mm or 5mm w/e and hoodie 5mm or 3mm.  you will be very very warm this is what i got 4/3 vapor, 7mm booties, 3mm gloves, 3mm hoodie.  When you go to buy it check ebay first before you go to your local surf shop (much cheaper prices)

  3. 3/4 or a 4/3 but get an oneill one best wetsuit makers and they keep you warmer and the are a better quality to

  4. 4/3 in a M (Rip Curl)

I'm 5' 8" 165 and I Wear a 3/2 Rip Curl Classic in a M size. Down here in SoCal the water could get down to about 55 degrees in the winter and I feel just fine with booties and 1.5 gloves. I'm currently looking for a new wetsuit for the winter also and I'm thinking about getting the Rip Curl E-Bomb.

  5. A 4/3 will be fine with booties and maybe gloves and a hood if it is really cold. As for size wetsuits just have to be tried on to find that perfect fit.

    Good luck and have fun,
