What Ski length is good for me?

Hello I am 6 feet tall, 160 pounds. 23 years old. Intermediate to Advanced skier. I like to ski the groomed runs, and am learning black diamonds. I bought the salamon xwing 10 ski @ 174cm and 16.7 radius. I had a choice between these 174's or 166's. I do not know wich ski is right for me. Will I have a hard time with the 174's, is this ski meant to be shorter for me? What am i sacrificing/gaining going for the longer ski?
