I have visited a lot of countries, but none of them speak Spanish. The closest I ever got was Miami : )

Of the Spanish-speaking countries on this earth, What country should I visit next? Spain? Mexico? Argentina? Phillipines? Something in the Carribean? Somewhere else?

Please let me know your thoughts and why?

  1. I'd go to Spain first.  It's the beginning of all Spanish, then go to C. America, Carribean...etc.

Plus it's full of History, and it's beautiful!

  2. The answer to this question really comes down to your travel budget, length of time you plan to spend and specialised interests.

*I would go for Spain if: you are prepared to spend at least 70$ a day given the dollar to Euro conversion rate and over all cost of living. You want more of a holiday i.e drinking, clubbing and less of a cultural challenge. Also if you want to spend a week or two.

*I would go to Argentina: if you want to do many of the same things you might do in a place like Spain but on a smaller (or more generous) budget. Also, the landscape and nature are amazing there.

*Ecuador, Peru, Mexico: a smaller budget and challenging travel conditions but rewarding experiences. Also, I think if you really want to try out your Spanish one of these places would be the best.

Hope this helps y buena suerte :)

  3. If you have time I would go on a self guided tour through Central America. Starting in Guatemala and ending in panama, make sure you go to the Bocas islands in Panama(awesome). The  people are friendly, the countries are different from one to the next. Don't let the size of them fool you they are small but you will find it hard to move through each one quickly for they all have something great to offer. The food is different from one to the other, the people as well. If you have a month or 2, 2 would be much better and would not cost as much as you think I would make this journey. The scenery is great the food is great and so are the people. Have fun where ever you go!

  4. Go to the Canary Islands It’s an amazing place. I went to Gran Canaria and I had a really good time.

  5. Oh man you have got to go the the Dominican Republic and specifically the north coast!

Driving from west to east we have the mountains on our right and a hundred beaches on our left!

We have many different ecosystems here that range from Dessert to Snow Covered Peak of Pico Duarte!

They have the most beautiful men and women and man can they dance!  It seems as if they have a special motor back there that makes them be able to move like they do!  They always have a big smile on their face and look you right in the eye unlike other places I have been to where they look at their feet and never ever smile!

Besides all that they love Americans!
